Before your treatment
Following your consultation, pre-care information will be discussed with you to ensure you receive the best possible outcome from your treatment.
When you attend your appointment, it is preferable you do not wear any make-up. If you are wearing make-up, it will be removed prior to your treatment. This will avoid any risk of infection.
Although your treatment will take 30 minutes, please allow additional time for your appointment as every patient is very important to me and treated on an individual basis. You are welcome to take a seat, help yourself to the selection of refreshments in the waiting room before and after your treatment if you would like to.

During your treatment
Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed and the areas of the skin to be treated identified using removeable white pencil. The needle size used is very fine, so most patients do not require numbing. However, numbing cream can be provided if required. You can expect 3-6 injections per treatment area.
Immediately after treatment, you may have small raised bumps on the skin where the botulinum toxin has been injected, but these resolve within less than an hour. The skin is once again cleansed and a soothing aftercare balm applied.

After your treatment
Please follow the aftercare advice to minimise adverse effects and maximise your treatment outcome:
Do not manipulate or massage the area for around 4 hours post treatment.
Avoid make up on the treated areas for about 12 hours.
Don’t exercise for the rest of the day or anything to make you warm or sweat.
Do not have facial beauty treatments or massage for one week following treatment.
You will be offered a review appointment at 2 weeks after your treatment to assess your progress.
